On September 11, 2023, CA-based Noble House Home Furnishings LLC and four affiliates (collectively, the “debtors”) filed chapter 11 bankruptcy cases in the Southern District of Texas (Judge Lopez). The debtors are distributors, manufacturers and retailers of indoor and outdoor home furniture (roughly 50/50 between the two) with e-commerce distribution via big name partners like Amazon Inc. ($AMZN), Wayfair Inc. ($W), Walmart Inc. ($WMT), Target Inc. ($TGT), Home Depot Inc. ($HD), and others (PETITION Note: with AMZN and W constituting nearly 50% of the business). They have their own brands — Christopher Knight Home, NobleHouse, LePouf, OkiOki, Best Selling and GDFStudio — and fulfill direct to consumer orders from their distribution centers.
