On October 1, 2024 — and right on schedule — Biolase Inc. and three affiliates (collectively, the “debtors”) filed chapter 11 bankruptcy cases in the District of Delaware (Judge Owens), bringing down the curtain on a sordid thirty-year epic featuring cutting-edge technology and the ancient nobility of Italy.
